There are many reasons to drink Atmosphere.

Alcohol vs. no alcohol. We believe it's not a binary decision: It's your own personal journey and conversation. Some people don't want to or can't consume alcohol for many reasons. Others just want to moderate and drink less alcohol. Others just want a beer anytime anywhere for any reason and Atmosphere fits the bill.

Non-alcoholic Atmosphere is counter-intuitively great for hydration (alcohol is a diuretic). It can assist with better sleep (hops are known for promoting relaxation). Because Atmosphere 0.0 Pils is brewed in Germany it's brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot, more contemporarily known as the German Beer Purity Law created by the Bavarian Duke Wilhelm IV in 1516 to create consistency. The law stipulates how a beer can be made and what ingredients can be used.

Atmosphere 0.0 Pils is first brewed as a fully fermented alcoholic Pilsner using just hops, hops extract, malt barley, yeast and spring water. There are no flavors, preservatives, clarifying or foaming agents added. It's just a pure and clean naturally made beer.

To remove the alcohol the beer is then passed through a state-of-the-art de-alcoholization system that uses a process called vacuum distillation to remove the alcohol. Essentially the beer is brought up to a temperature in a vacuum where the beer doesn't boil (keeping with the Reinheitsgebot) but the alcohol evaporates. Alcohol evaporates at a lower temperature in a vacuum.

The non-alcoholic beer is then quickly canned and passed through tunnel pasteurization equipment to ensure that pathogens can't form and to prevent any future re-fermentation (creating alcohol).
